“We absolutely loved staying here, we had a really nice and quiet room, the gardens are stunning, there are loads of staff who are very friendly and helpful (like 1 per 2 guests?!). The food is amazing. It's both good and bad in that we massively overate which is not good for the waistline, but we simply didn't stop ourselves because it was superb. Be warned, they really don't like to see guys knees or ankles at dinner, and so you must wear trousers! The good news is you don't need a monacle or tophat or powdered wig. The pools were great, both a nice cooler but still pleasant temperature main pool, and a very nice very warm pool. They had some saunas we forgot to use since the weather was so nice and warm. The gym is excellent, decent selection of weights and machines.”

“We stay at dozens of hotels annually and have had the pleasure of staying in a number of top notch properties throughout Spain. However, this property is a different level altogether. It’s not just the quality of the rooms and the grounds, which are superb. Staff here consistently goes above and beyond expectations. They were so friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Every interaction was well orchestrated and surprising in its professional and yet warm approach. And then there is the food. We eat out a lot and frequently go to Michelin rated restaurants. The food here is simply outstanding: breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Such variety, creativity, and quality ingredients. The only downside would be that it is nearly impossible to not put on weight. We initially had only chosen to have breakfasts but upon check-in we were invited to upgrade to half pension for a very reasonable add-on. We rarely do this because the food quality simply isn’t worth it. Not the case here. Every meal exceeded our expectations substantially. The hotel brings an older crowd, mostly retired, just a handful of families. It was primarily couples at or near retirement. This was perfect for us but might not be your cup of tea if you are looking for a younger, trendier, livelier experience. This is a place to relax and be pampered. We would return without hesitation and would highly recommend if fortune finds you visiting Gran Canaria.”

“Very classy hotel, beautifully appointed, heated pool, good spa with outdoor heated Thassalo pool, very nice staff. Food is excellent but dinner on the outside terrace is seriously underlit...impossible to see by candlelight what you are eating. Same goes for outside bar terrace, hardly any light. Bedrooms are similarly dimly lit. Dinner food is great, lunch has an excellent choice with many Spanish dishes. BBQ nights are good. This is a quiet refined hotel with mostly senior guests so no real " fun" element. Expect a quiet refined stay”

The property feels intimate and exclusive, with shops and restaurants just a short walk away and the beach only 5–10 minutes by foot. The atmosphere is serene, and while the crowd skews older, I didn’t mind one bit — it added to the peaceful charm. The breakfast buffet was exceptional with champagne, mimosas, and cooked-to-order dishes, and dinner was a highlight every single night. Definitely opt for half board so you don’t miss the incredible BBQs. The spa deserves its own applause — sauna, steam, salt room, cold plunge — I went every day and left feeling completely rejuvenated. I also appreciated the no-phone rule in public areas — it truly encourages you to unplug and be present. The staff here are next-level, learning every guest’s name and making you feel genuinely cared for.”
