“Outstanding hotel in the heart of Palma. The service was genuinely exceptional: warm, proactive, and effortlessly efficient. From restaurant bookings to a late checkout and even a surprise birthday cake, every request was handled seamlessly. It’s the sort of personalized hospitality that many larger luxury hotels strive for but rarely deliver this consistently. A special thank you to Alicia, Giovanna, and Maria at the front desk, whose professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail made our stay particularly memorable. Every interaction was friendly, thoughtful, and genuinely helpful. The location is perfect: central yet quiet, on one of Palma’s most charming streets. The rooftop terrace is a peaceful retreat for sunbathing or a quick swim after exploring the city. We had a fantastic long weekend and would highly recommend Sant Jaume Design Hotel.”

“Honestly….a great find in probably Palma’s best old town road. We booked two rooms quite by chance as we would normally stay at Hospes. The price of the rooms was incredibly reasonable and included breakfast to our surprise (we were too last minute to book a suite so got Delux rooms). Right from pre arrival, the experience was incredible and location cannot be beaten. Interior decor is very stylish and elegant and all staff very friendly and attentive. The roof terrace which has a small plunge pool is well decked for relaxing and sun bathing. We were also really taken by the internal pool sauna set up. This has to be booked for exclusive use and is cleaned down for your visit. It was incredibly relaxing and felt very indulgent without the usual awkwardness of sharing with strangers. My son used the gym…small but has everything you need. Would be tight for more than 1 person to use but that never happened during our stay and he used it twice a day for 4 days. Also worth highlighting was the quality of the breakfast…amazing dining space but the food from the fresh bread and pastries to fruit and cooked elements was easily amongst the best we have experienced (almost anywhere in the world). The staff remembered my allergies throughout our stay too. Overall, an amazing surprise in every respect…location, building, team, food, room, etc. Only very very minor grumble…we asked for an extra bed for our 7 year old to stay in our room instead of staying with his adult brother and this was quite expensive at a (reduced) 100 euros a night despite being a booked in guest - this is a very minor grumble though as they did set up a proper single bed rather than a trickle arrangement.”

“From the moment we arrived until the second we left, the experience at Sant Jaume Design Hotel was nothing short of exceptional. The staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming, setting a tone of genuine warmth that defined our entire stay. We were personally welcomed by Jesus, whose introduction to the hotel and the city was fantastic. He took the time to explain everything about Palma, walked us through the hotel’s amenities, and gave us excellent recommendations for eating places nearby. It was the perfect start to our trip. The hotel itself is stunning—the design and appointments are incredibly well thought-out, balancing modern luxury with historic character. We also loved the access to the private spa; having our own dedicated slot made it feel exclusive and incredibly relaxing. Breakfast was great, but what truly stands out here is the service. In all our interactions with the staff, it was warm with a ready smile. A highlight of this impeccable service occurred on our very last day, when the hotel manager, Alejandro, personally checked in on us during breakfast to ensure our stay had been perfect. It’s those small, thoughtful touches that make a place memorable. While Sant Jaume is on the upper end, it offers excellent value for money given the quality of the experience. If you are looking for a flawless stay in Palma, this is it.”
