“Villa Coo is one of those hotels that manages to make an immediate impression while still feeling relaxed, welcoming and completely unpretentious. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that a great deal of thought had gone into every aspect of the property—from the architecture and interior design to the atmosphere, service and overall guest experience. The hotel has a very distinctive identity. The combination of Mediterranean influences, elegant curves, warm natural tones, terrazzo surfaces and subtle Italian-inspired design gives it real character. It feels contemporary without being cold or overly minimalistic, and stylish without trying too hard. Every area has been carefully designed, yet the result remains comfortable and inviting rather than simply “photogenic.” Our room was beautifully presented, spacious and exceptionally comfortable. The design continued throughout the room, with carefully selected materials, calming colours, quality furnishings and excellent lighting. The bed was extremely comfortable, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the room offered everything needed for a relaxing stay. Storage was practical, the bathroom was modern and well designed, and everything was maintained to a very high standard. Cleanliness was outstanding throughout the hotel, not only in the room but also in the communal areas, pool and reception. The central pool area is one of the highlights of Villa Coo. It has a peaceful, private atmosphere despite the hotel’s convenient city location. The striped sunbeds, elegant umbrellas, palm trees and surrounding architecture create a stylish setting that feels more like a private Mediterranean courtyard than a typical hotel pool. It is the perfect place to slow down, enjoy a coffee or drink, read a book and relax after exploring the island. Breakfast on the rooftop was another memorable part of the experience. Starting the day outside, overlooking Kos Town, creates a wonderful holiday atmosphere. The setting is bright, comfortable and beautifully arranged, and the rooftop itself feels like a genuine feature of the hotel rather than simply an additional breakfast space. It is a lovely place to take your time in the morning before heading out for the day. The location is also excellent. Villa Coo is close enough to the centre, harbour, beach, restaurants and bars to explore Kos Town easily on foot, but the hotel itself still feels calm and removed from the busiest tourist areas. This balance is difficult to achieve and makes the property particularly suitable for guests who want to experience the energy of the town without sacrificing privacy and relaxation. The adults-only concept works extremely well. The atmosphere remains peaceful and sophisticated throughout the day, making the hotel ideal for couples, friends or solo travellers looking for a more refined and relaxing base in Kos. It feels intimate and personal rather than crowded or resort-like. Most importantly, the hospitality matched the quality of the surroundings. The team was warm, attentive and professional, always available when needed without ever being intrusive. The service felt genuine and personal, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Small details were handled efficiently, and there was a clear sense that the staff genuinely cared about the comfort of their guests. Villa Coo offers something refreshingly different from the standard island hotel. It combines an excellent location, strong design identity, comfortable rooms, attentive service and a relaxed boutique atmosphere. It is stylish enough to feel special but comfortable enough to feel immediately at home. A fantastic new addition to Kos and a hotel I would confidently recommend to anyone looking for an elegant, adults-only stay in the centre of the island.
